Besides all the food hotspots, the lovely terraces and the fine dining restaurants that Amsterdam has to offer, we can also enjoy some fantastic shopping here! At department stores like Uniqlo, and for example the Scandinavian ArketBut more and more designer stores are opening in Amsterdam. From Dutch designers to the very best, it seems like they're all opening their own designer stores in our city. And that's great, because when you make an expensive purchase, it's nice to have seen, felt, and tried it on in person, instead of judging based on online images. To make it clear, we've compiled a list of 13 designer stores in Amsterdam! Happy shopping!
Dior made a bold move by opening a store right on Dam Square. It proved a wise move, as the store, opposite the Bijenkorf department store, stands head and shoulders above many other designer boutiques. Shop the entire collection on several floors and enjoy a glass of champagne, coffee, or tea.

Laan Vintage is arguably one of Amsterdam's best designer vintage stores. This spacious shop, just around the corner from Utrechtsestraat, offers a fantastic selection of Prada, Bottega Veneta, Gucci (especially the Tom Ford era), and more. Their sunglasses and bag collection is also fantastic. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about what he buys: with every item, he has a story about its origin and designer.

We already had a GANNI boutique in the Nine Streets, but now there's another one, on Leidsestraat. It might not be a shopping street you'd normally visit, but this new store is a welcome exception. It showcases GANNI's new direction: cool, collected, and sophisticated. But with a touch of GANNI flair, of course.
