De Turk Amsterdam: take away & lunch in the Pijp

1 May 2015

De Turk Amsterdam: new hotspot at the Van Woustraat

A nice new hotspot on the Van Wou: De Turk Amsterdam! Almost everyone is familiar with the concept of going to the Turkish store. This is thé place where you can get the best fresh olives, feta and vegetables! At this new place in the Pijp, going to the Turkish supermarket will be a whole new experience for you! Owner Murat created a great new store, where you can have coffee, lunch and afterwards you can do your groceries or buy some Turkish delicacies to take home with you!

On the menu you will find lots of sandwiches, such as toasted turkish bread with feta, tomato and rocket lettuce. You can also try their delicious coffee, or a (biological) ginger soda! When the weather is nice, you can enjoy your lunch in the sun outside. Take a quick look in the store afterwards: you’ll definitely find something you like, from homemade Turkish specialties to fresh fruits & vegetables.
