De Ruyschkamer Amsterdam: new living room cafe at the Ruyschstraat

17 September 2013

A juice bar and a cosy living room cafe: De Ruyschkamer Amsterdam

Our local cafe Bar Bukowski gets competition… De Ruyschkamer Amsterdam opened its doors across my home :-). From 7.59 a.m. till late you can go to the brothers Scip and Sun for the most delicious juices, coffee, breakfast and small or larger bites. From a platter with meats to bread with spreads or breakfast in bed for 2! The official opening is September 28th, but to try and test their concept your more than welcome at the soft launch of De Ruyschkamer Amsterdam already. We tried and tested the artisan Ruyschballen (yummy meatballs!) and the spicy tuna spread. Both delicious!!

When you enter this new hotspot it feels like you’re in a New York juice bar where the Sapmeesters make the best juices. We tried the Green Smoothie and I can highly recommend this dose of vitamins and minerals! But don’t forget to check out the chalk board with the different flavours. In the back of De Ruyschkamer Amsterdam you enter a living room style cafe that gives you the East Berlin vibe (love it!). The whole cafe is decorated with vintage furniture from Zo Goed Als Oud and everything is for sale. So don’t get attached to that one comfy chair…or buy it before it’s sold to someone else :-). I think I will spend many hours at my new neighbours from De Ruyschkamer Amsterdam! Check the Facebook page (LIKE!) for the small events coming up.
