Wauw! Wasn’t last weekend the perfect start of the spring/summer? And also the perfect preparation of one of our favourite food festivals of the year: the Rollende Keukens? Because this Thursday, on May 12, it’s time of the Weekend of the Rollende Keukens. Then the foodtrucks of the Rollende Keukens will arrive and will stay till May 16. So block your agenda!

It’s already the ninth time that a troop of more than 125 mobile restaurants will take over the Westergasterrein. Bakeries, smokers, campers, trucks, vans, scooters, the temporary mobile hotspots come in all shapes and sizes. And as always, this means a lot of fun!
Just walking around the festival area and smelling all those different kinds of foods, mmm. I mean, what do you want more? Good food for low prices, live music, cabaret and your own booze. Hopefully a little bit of sun ;-) I cannot wait to sit back, relaxt and spend all day tasting everything!
The Rollende Keukens is the perfect setting to catch up and meet with a group of friends. Just sitting on picnic blankets in the grass and taste everything. Make sure you bring enough cash so that you can stay as long as you want.
Tip: Make sure you bring an extra sweater. Although the food is hot, the weather is still Dutch. Which means chilly nights. And that’s never a good reason to go home ;-)
