Eating breakfast out isn't exactly a typical Dutch tradition, but we're happy to make an exception for De Bakkerswinkel. It's more than just a bakery. Besides delicious sandwiches, the Westerpark branch also offers a picnic basket, so you can enjoy your sandwiches in the park. De Bakkerswinkel also offers a lavish high tea, something we also love. We love ordering a slice of walnut caramel cake with our coffee, because we secretly have a sweet tooth sometimes.
The Bakery can be found at Roelof Hartstraat 68 in Oud-Zuid, Warmoesstraat 69 in the Centrum and Polonceaukade 1 in Amsterdam the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam West. Enjoy your meal!
