Can’t you get enough of the beautiful concept stores in Amsterdam? If you’re looking for a nice gift for someone else or for yourself: there is always something nice or cute to find in a concept store. At least, I always come home with something! Or does that say something about me? ;-). Whether you’re looking for some nice interior accessories, furniture, cooking ware, jewellery or nice little (note)books. Gekaapt: The online shop and pop-up store Gekaapt now has a permanent location in the city where day in day out you can find great durable interior and fashion items for yourself or for your friends birthday. Ps: They also have the Vegan Lane; a collection of brands and products that fit into the vegan lifestyle.
What is Hip: From hipster bikes to Amsterdam traffic bollards, bohemian cane chairs and wallpaper with palm trees. At What is Hip in West you will literally love everything you see. The brands you often see here are brands like Zuiver, HK Living and WOOOD.
Wen: Wen is your to go to if you are looking for fun gifts for friends and beautiful clothes and accessories to treat yourself. They have two locations, at the Hoofddorpplein and on the Maasstraat.
Sukha: My absolute favourite is Sukha in the Haarlemmerstraat. Here they sell really beautiful things for your home, clothing made out of very fine fabric and sweet little gifts. A few examples are: a poetry book, cotton garlands and jewellery. Almost everything is handmade and eco-friendly.
Cottoncake: You have to go to concept store Cottoncake in De Pijp to shop for the nicest items from all around the world. From art to plaids to jewellery and scarfs. So, in which part of the world will you go shopping today? ;-)
Johnny at the Spot: Here in West you will find nice Danish brands and very nice interior accessories! At Johnny at the Spot men will find cool, affordable clothes. At Dépôt by Johnny at the Spot women will find the nicest dresses, bags, shoes, pans and pots.

JAN: Whenever I’m looking for a fun birthday present I always go to concept store JAN on the Utrechtsestraat. Books, interior decoration, baby items and much more must-haves… here you will find it! A variety of quality items you won’t find somewhere else!
Hartje Oost: To Hartje Oost, yes, in East, you go for good coffee, beautiful brands and nice presents. Everything is handmade, vintage and fair-trade. And remember: very beautiful. We love it!
Locals: To find real Dutch design, Locals is a nice concept store in the Nine Streets to go to! Jewellery, leather bags, wallets and accessories for your own home. Most items are handmade so very unique!
Anna + Nina: Anna + Nina has been growing and now have a concept store on three locations in Amsterdam where you can buy very nice living accessories, cute must-haves and things like jewellery. It’s guaranteed you will find something here! Worth a visit when yo find yourself walking around in De Pijp (the Gerard Doustraat), Reguliersgracht or in the city centre (Kloveniersburgwal).

Nice detail: you can compose your own necklace by choosing the length (long, short, gold or silver) and a charm. A nice personal gift!
X Bank: X Bank is the shop of the W hotel in the Spuistraat. And you know what that means. An excellent mix of special (and luxurious) products of fashion, art, design, culture and other urban musthaves.
