Cocotte in Mons (Bergen) is what you call a real hidden gem! This brunch hotspot is located in a garage at the edge of the city. Behind this garage restaurant there’s a spot where you can have a good brunch outside. The menu at Cocotte is seasonal and they try to cook with as much local ingredients as possible. If you go to Mons and it’s not on a Monday or Tuesday Cocotte is closed but the rest of the week they’re are open for lunch and dinner. On Sunday they only do brunch.
Cocotte in Mons is a modern canteen where they serve a daily changing menu every day. A table d’hôte in French! We love this concept and go to places like this in Amsterdam all the time. When the weather is nice eating in the inner courtyard feels like a real holiday :-). Enjoy!
