Celebrating New Year's Eve in Sydney in Australia It's still on my bucket list. Few skylines are as recognizable as that of this harbor city, with the Opera House on the water and the boats in the background. Want to combine a visit to Sydney with sun and sand? Then the suburbs of Bondi or Coogee are highly recommended. Be sure to visit one of the ocean pools! Just like in Melbourne, you can enjoy incredible food here, and there are many trendy restaurants and other hotspots. From brekkie to late-night cocktails by the water. You could easily spend three nights here, as there are plenty of charming neighborhoods to explore. The combination of city and beach makes this city unique and a special destination for the best of both worlds. Also fun: take a road trip to Byron Bay after your visit to Sydney!
