For the best hotspots in New York, head to Williamsburg in Brooklyn. No doubt! From Manhattan, you can get there in no time with the L train, exiting at Bedford Avenue. The streets between Bedford Avenue and the East River are packed with great restaurants, trendy boutiques, and coffee shops.
Since my first visit to Williamsburg, the neighborhood has become less vibrant. It's a shame, but it's also a good thing, because now you have many lovely hotels like The Hoxton and The Williamsburg Hotel, where you can stay wonderfully. All with views of the Manhattan skyline.
A weekend event not to be missed is Smorgasburg, the famous food market in East River State Park. In this Williamsburg Guide, I've compiled the best spots in this trendy New York neighborhood!
