“South of Houston”, or Soho, because this area is somewhat reminiscent of the London district. It feels like a charming outdoor mall, where the many big brands such as Chanel and Celine are housed in the impressive industrial buildings that are so characteristic of this Manhattan neighbourhood.
A visit to this neighbourhood is dangerous, because here you get the urge to buy all the stores empty. In addition to the countless nice boutiques, you are also at the right address for design and art galleries.
The best thing to do is explore this neighbourhood zigzagging between Canal Street and West Houston. Or if you don’t have that much time at least the streets between Prince Street and Spring Street, because for me it’s the heart of the neighbourhood.
