East Village Travel Tips

East of Greenwich Village, you'll find the East Village neighborhood. A favorite among locals! If you'd like to explore this neighborhood, I'd recommend planning a visit in the late afternoon. Many restaurants and charming bars don't open until the end of the day. That's when the neighborhood truly comes alive!

What makes this neighborhood unique in Manhattan is that you won't find many truly tall buildings or large chain stores. I also find that you see far fewer tourists. Curious about the hotspots? You can find out in this East Village New York Guide!
