Just a few hours' drive away (or a relaxing train ride!) lies Lille, a fantastic city in northern France. Lille is perfect for shopping. You'll find major brands in a large, centrally located shopping mall, but the narrow streets, full of unique vintage shops and small boutiques, are especially enjoyable to explore.
For example, choose your route along the trendy Rue de la Clef or Rue Basse, where you'll find many antique shops. If you're ready for a lunch break, grab a coffee and a delicious muffin at Caféine Coffee. Lille is also a great place for foodies. Be sure to grab a bite to eat at Basilic Cafe, a restaurant and urban art gallery all in one. Cool! You'll find more great restaurant hotspots between Rue Royale, Rue Doudin, Rue des Bouchers, and Rue Basse. See all the hotspots listed below!
