In the Finnish hipster friendly capital city Helsinki there’s a lot of design, markets and places with the ever-so-nice industrial look. The districts where you really have to go to are mainly the Design District and Kallio.
In the Design District you can really shop until you drop with all those little boutiques and designer shops. The Design District is also great if you’re going for a whiff of culture. There are many museums in the district such as the Design Museum (Scandinavian design, love it!). Kallio is like the hipster neighbourhood from Helsinki, full with trendy places and boutiques.
If you’re really into graffiti, then you should definitely go to the Suvilahti Graffiti Wall. It is completely legal for graffiti artists to decorate the wall, so you can definitely except some beautiful graffiti works there! To find out all hotspots in Helsinki, check out our Helsinki City Guide.
