In this Amsterdam Old South Guide we listed the best addresses in the art and museum district. On the Museum Square you find some of the best museums in Amsterdam, like the Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, Van Gogh Museum and MOCO Museum.

With its iconic buildings like the cities Concert Hall, Amsterdam Old South is the most upscale neighbourhoods in town. There are a lot of fancy stores and chic restaurants to discover. Popular streets for shopping in Amsterdam Old South are the Van Baerlestraat and Jacob Obrechtstraat. For designer boutiques the PC Hooftstraat is the place to shop.
