STRAAT is Amsterdam's newest museum dedicated entirely to street art.
You might often walk past it, but did you know that the Royal Palace on Dam Square is open to visitors for a large part of the year? Inside, you can feast your eyes on the impressive halls filled with art and history. Tip: take the Mokum Tour, where you learn more about the history of Amsterdam, from the city's coat of arms to the Palace during wartime. It's also fun to do with kids: scavenger hunts and audio tours allow them to discover the Palace in a playful way. An added bonus: admission is free for those up to and including 18 years old.
