28 April 2017

MAKE YOUR DAY DREAMS COME TRUE WITH ONE OF THESE CITY TRIPS BY TRAIN

Sometimes it can just be that your entire timeline is travelling and you just cannot manage to book a plane ticket. But why being difficult when it can be súper easy? We are big fans of city trips by train. Because the plane isn’t the only way to bring us to great destinations. Fancy a spontaneous weekend break? Low budget, not too much fuss? I looked up the nicest city trips by train for you. No hassle with check ins and long flights, so perfect for a short weekend getaway!

London (from 59 euro) >> city trips by train

London can be reached in different ways; by plane, by boat and by train. Personally, I think by plane or by train are the easiest. If you go to London from Amsterdam by train, you are in London by 4 to 5 hours! Tip: book your train tickets on time, then they will be fairly inexpensive (from 59 euros). If you want to buy a last minute ticket, the price can be quite disappointing.

Paris (from 29 euro) >> city trips by train

Paris by train is so easy and inexpensive! You’re in Paris by three hours. Get up early and take a night train, so you can have breakfast next to the Eiffel Tower!

Berlin (from 39 euro) >> city trips by train

I love Berlin! It’s such a great city, with lots of culture and trendy hotspots. You will never get bored in Berlin. It only takes 6 hours from Amsterdam to go to Berlin by train. Other nice German cities to visit by train are Düsseldorf and Cologne.

Brussels (from 19 euro) >> city trips by train

Want to book an easy and spontaneous weekend getaway? Then I recommend Brussels! Easy to get to, not expensive and there really is so much to do! There is a direct train from Rotterdam to Brussels, and it only takes one hour and 45 minutes to get there.

Vienna (from 58 euro) >> CITY TRIPS BY TRAIN

Vienna is breathtaking! Let the city surprise you with her beauty, culture and delicious food! You will have to book your train tickets on time, otherwise they can be very expensive. Choosing the night train will also make your trip less expensive!
