The back is increasingly appreciated the Pipe Rivierenbuurt. This charming neighborhood lies between Scheldestraat and the Amstel River, and while the energy of Oud-Zuid and De Pijp is still palpable here and there, the wide streets and greenery give you a more residential feel. And in a way, that's true. Despite the many trendy spots, Rivierenbuurt is relatively quiet. But if you know where to find the right spots, you'll quickly fall in love with this neighborhood!
Be sure to visit Maasstraat, Rijnstraat, and Scheldestraat for the best hotspots. Feast on French cuisine at Cotignac or check out the cool Old-School concept. Meat lover? Get your fill at The Roast Room next to the famous Rai event hall. Fancy a drink? Strand Zuid and Cafe Friday are worth a visit! And in the summer, of course, visit Martin Luther King Park for the Parade!
