Prague Travel Tips

Prague, or rather, Hlavní město Praha. Where fairytale and industrial atmospheres merge. Where you expect to find castles, cathedrals, and other beautiful historic buildings. And you do. Along with the hundreds of towers that now serve as perfect viewpoints. In this Prague City Guide, you'll discover that the city also has a raw side, many creative people, and a surprising underground (party) scene. There's cool graffiti on the walls, representing, for example, peace and freedom, such as the John Lennon Peace Wall in the Mala Strana district.

The most up-and-coming neighborhood is Žižkov. Here, hotspots are literally popping up everywhere. There's no shortage of cafes; apparently, there are over 300 in this small district! Prague is a true hipster city! Visit one of the flea markets to snag the coolest items. End your day in style with a beer and a spit-roasted pig. Find a beer garden for affordable pints with the locals. And then an evening stroll across the touristy yet atmospheric Charles Bridge is a must before you dive into Prague's nightlife with the tips from this Prague City Guide.
