Take one of the ferries to Amsterdam Noord sometime! Known for its raw industrial vibe, Noord has become a hot and happening place in recent years. With an increasing number of great cafes and city beaches, it's especially pleasant to spend time in the summer. Consider hotspots like Coffee of Ceuvel en plek where you can relax by the water. Other lovely spots by the water include the terrace at the EYE film museum (at sunset!) and the fish restaurant. Stork, a THT.

One of our favorite neighborhoods in Amsterdam Noord is the NDSM site. It's the perfect spot to catch the best festivals! Noord is also a paradise for vintage and thrift shopping. Don't miss the monthly flea market in the IJ-hallen, where you can find secondhand clothes for next to nothing.
