Choux Amsterdam: the best restaurant next to Amsterdam CS

29 May 2015

From the founders of restaurant pop-ups Foyer and Reperé: meet Choux!

The opening of Choux Amsterdam is one like we love at to see every week at  Your Little Black Book. First of all because we really like the style of cooking of Chef Merijn. Second of all because we think that Figo is one of the best hosts in Amsterdam. Combine these two in a beautiul looking restaurant like Choux Amsterdam and you have the picture perfect. After pop-up restaurants Foyer and Reperé this new hotspot is here to stay. For good!

Menu x Choux Amsterdam

In the first week they opened I went to Choux right away to try and taste the new menu for you. And oh my, it was soooo delicious! On the menu you find the choice of 3, 4 or 7 courses (from € 31,- to € 55,-). And if you like so you can order wine pairings with the menu. I always like to do that! It keeps me from drinking too much ;-) and I love to have the best wine and spice combination possible.

The dishes at Choux Amsterdam look so beautiful and pure. Love the use of colour in them! And of course all the ingredients are organic and local where possible. The menu changes regularly. That means that you always have a reason to go back! On a weekday with a friend for a 3 course dinner and on date night with your love for 7 courses. Since I was at Choux with one of my friends I can’t wait to go back with the mister :-).

Choux Amsterdam is located close to Central Station in a beautiful building that is totally remodelled. The interior design is modern and timeless with a vintage touch and lots of red.

Tip: you can book the Chef’s Table with a view on the kitchen when you are with a group up to 18 people. I’m already thinking of a reason to do that with my friends!
