There's no shortage of beautiful and luxurious hotels in Paris. I still dream of staying at the Ritz one day. The reality is, I usually look for hotels that are both nice and affordable. That's why I've compiled a list for you of the best budget hotels in Paris that also boast beautiful interiors. Because let's be honest: aesthetics matter too. I should also add a caveat: budget hotels in Paris are a relative term.
How to find the cheapest hotels in Paris
If you search websites like Booking.com for reviews above 8 and the lowest price, you'll find many more cheap hotels (but they are often less attractive!). The hotels in this fine Paris list starting prices that at the time of writing are between €80 and a maximum of around €150 per night.

HOME ALONE 4 INCOMING 😅 My trip to NYC ends in a bad (Christmas) movie when the hotel gives my carry-on luggage with passport to an old lady who doesn't realize this and checks the luggage on a flight to the UK!
Now I'm stuck here in NY without a passport, and I missed my flight.
I've experienced a lot in all the years I've been traveling for Your Little Black Book, but this is a first 😅.
This chat video is purely therapeutic in nature 🤣🤣🤣. Because really: HOW?! 🫢
Note to self: it's better to carry your passport all day, instead of leaving it "safely" in the hotel, apparently... and from now on, attach suitcases with cables in the storage room. Even if you're staying in a luxurious and expensive hotel, everything is still done by humans.
Now I'm stuck in one of the world's coolest cities, but of course I just want to be home with Manuel, as planned. 😔

How cool is this? There are places in the Netherlands where you can cut down your own Christmas tree! You don't hear about it very often, even though it's quite common in America (where I'm currently!).
Good to know: some of these places in the Netherlands are only open for a few days a year and you have to reserve a time slot.

This time we went to @williams.farmhouse, one of my favorite lunch spots in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid. But is it also fun during the day with kids?
We ordered a 'plain' version of the Farmhouse burger 🍔: yes, really just meat + cheese 🤣… and together with the fries it was a mega success.
Happy child, happy us... and it was such a cozy, rainy afternoon. I mean, this interior makes me dream of the Cotswolds again!

This pet-friendly hotel isn't just a sight to behold; it also offers everything you need for a wonderful weekend in Paris. The rooms are fully equipped, and the metro station is just around the corner. Although the hotel is located a bit further from the city center, it allows you to truly explore Paris's neighborhoods and discover lesser-known spots, such as the beautiful Parc des Buttes-Chaumont.

For a budget-friendly hotel, Hotel Terre Neuve looks surprisingly nice! The rooms are stylish and tastefully decorated, and you'll immediately feel at home. However, you'll have to walk a bit further from this hotel to reach some of the city's attractions; it's 2,8 kilometers to Bastille.

The Hôtel de la Porte Dorée in Paris is definitely one of my favorite affordable hotels in Paris. This hotel has a green policy, using energy-saving appliances and recycling programs. A big plus for me! The rooms are classically decorated with true Parisian charm, giving them a wonderfully luxurious feel.
