Cha House Amsterdam: delicious sushi, dim sum & ramen in Amsterdam-East

8 November 2016

cha house amsterdam is the new place for your dim sum cravings

Say the words dim & sum within the walls of the Yourlbb-offices and you got sparkling eyes full of enthusiasm and desire looking at you. Really, no matter what time of the day it is, you can make us happy with any form of dumplings. So of course we jumped in the air when we heard about Cha House Amsterdam, a new Japanese-Chinese eatery in Amsterdam-East.

Eatery? Rather a true dim sum heaven on the Linnaeusstraat in East. Fried shrimp dumplings, meat and veggie gyoza and steamed patties, they come in all shapes and sizes at Cha House. And it gets even better because they serve more than just dim sum at Cha House Amsterdam. They also serve sushi with ingredients like yellowfin tuna, crispy shrimps and green tea mayo and three different kinds of Japanese ramen soups.

All of that is served in a very cozy, homelike setting. Chef Vai from Hong Kong wants you to feel at home, like he & his wife did growing up by big families and surrounded by fun. Including all accessory drinks & bites of course. And that’s why Cha House needed to become an approachable, casual eatery including all those types of food and drinks. To speak in chef Via’s words: Cha House is a mix of many ‘yam cha’ restaurants in Hong Kong and the Izakaya’s in Tokyo. Sounds just like the perfect combination ;-) Open daily from 17.00 hours!

You find Cha House Amsterdam on the Linnaeusstraat 18 in Amsterdam-East.
