Cheers! Want ik mag mijzelf de komende maanden ambassadeur noemen van BOB rosé uit Europa. Deze samenwerking trapten we af met een prachtige wijnreis door de Provence (één van gebieden waar BOB rosé gemaakt wordt). Ik heb kennis mogen maken met de wijnmakers en verschillende wijnhuizen bezocht. Wijnhuizen waarvan jij de BOB rosé óók kunt proeven, want om deze samenwerking te vieren mag ik 3 x 2 tickets weggeven voor Bacchus Wijnfestival in Amsterdam. Hoe je kans maakt lees je onderaan deze post!

Eerst zal ik je nog wat meer vertellen over BOB rosé uit Europa, want tijdens de wijnreis heb ik zoveel geleerd. Met deze weetjes ben jij deze zomer net als ik een echte rosé- connaisseur ;-).

- BOB is de afkorting voor ‘Beschermde Oorsprongsbenaming’ en dit is een Europees kwaliteitslabel voor landbouwproducten uit een bepaald geografisch gebied met typische bijzonderheden.
- BOB rosé wordt in Europa wordt alleen gemaakt in specifiek aangewezen geografische gebieden. De productie van deze rosé is puur vakmanschap en de regels zijn streng vastgelegd.
- Je herkent de BOB rosé ook aan de mooie lichtroze kleur. De unieke kleur ontstaat doordat de blauwe druiven direct na de oogst gekoeld worden en er later in het proces maar heel kort schilcontact is.
- Gebruiken de Italianen rond het Gardameer voor hun BOB rosé maar één druivenras, in de Provence zijn de populairste blauwe druivenrassen: cinsault, grenache, mourvèdre, syrah en tibouren.
- BOB rosé is een perfecte wijn voor het aperitief, maar mind you: er worden tegenwoordig ook steeds meer gourmet rosés gemaakt die juist perfect zijn voor het diner. Van gegrilde groenten, tot Provençaalse toast met ansjovis en van zomerse salades met peulvruchten tot vers gegrilde zeebaars.
