Spend a weekend in The Hague and discover the best hotspots

Every time I am in The Hague, I think to myself: what a lovely city this is. I especially love strolling around the streets near Piet Heinstraat for hours. Recently, I went to The Hague for a weekend and stayed at the beautiful Carlton Ambassador Hotel . This boutique hotel is super centrally located, just a stone's throw from the city center and the trendy Scheepslieden Quarter. A perfect base for a weekend getaway!

The Carlton Ambassador Hotel in The Hague has a classic interior and exudes that true Hague chic. We stayed in a beautifully renovated room, featuring an original fireplace and modern design. If you are staying at the Carlton Ambassador Hotel in The Hague, I recommend ordering room service and having breakfast in your room, just like we did. That way, waking up after an evening of fine dining at one of The Hague's hotspots is a real treat. And I always love being able to enjoy a beautiful hotel room a little longer.

Carlton Ambassador Hotel The Hague x city package

What makes the Carlton Ambassador Hotel The Hague extra special, in my opinion, is the special city package. You receive a box in your room filled with local tips for authentic spots in The Hague. From a traditional pub to the best chocolatier, and from galleries to must-visit shops. We cycled all over The Hague for two days using the hotel's bikes. I always find it so nice when you can rent bikes directly at your hotel. That way, you don't waste time waiting for a tram when you're away for the weekend, and you often discover many more great places along the way.
