Spend a weekend in The Hague and discover the best hotspots
Every time I'm in The Hague, I think: what a lovely city this is. I especially love wandering around the streets around Piet Heinstraat for hours. I recently went to The Hague for a weekend and stayed at the beautiful Carlton Ambassador HotelThis boutique hotel is superbly centrally located, just a stone's throw from the city center and the trendy Scheepsliedenkwartier district. A perfect base for a weekend getaway!

We stayed in a beautifully renovated room, with an original fireplace and modern design. If you're staying at the Carlton Ambassador Hotel in The Hague, I highly recommend ordering room service and having breakfast in your room, as we did. Waking up after an evening of extensive dining at one of The Hague's hotspots is a real treat. And I always love being able to enjoy a beautiful hotel room a little longer.

I didn't know what the Carlton Ambassador Hotel The Hague What makes it even more special, I think, is the special city package. You get a box in your room with all sorts of local tips for authentic The Hague hotspots, from traditional Dutch cafés to the best chocolatiers and from galleries to must-see shops. We cycled through The Hague for two days using the hotel bikes. I always appreciate being able to rent bikes directly from the hotel. This way, you don't waste time waiting for a tram during a weekend getaway, and you often discover many more great spots along the way.
