Carter Bar & Kitchen Amsterdam: all day hotspot

NY feeling in Amsterdam Old South at Carter Bar & Kitchen

Amsterdam Old South is on the rise again. YAY!  Carter Bar & Kitchen is a new bar and restaurant on the corner of Valeriusstraat. This hotspot has a lovely terrace in good weather, but it's also a great place to enjoy drinks at the bar. The interior of Carter Bar & Kitchen is classy and warm. It gives it such a wonderful London of New York feeling!

The restaurant area is very nicely decorated. Retro furniture and art adorn the walls. And because the dining area is separate from the bar, you can enjoy a leisurely meal without crowds while people are enjoying drinks at the bar. The cocktail menu is excellent! I highly recommend having a cocktail at the bar before dinner.

Food & drinks at Carter Bar & Kitchen

The menu at Carter Bar & Kitchen Amsterdam is bistro-style. Classic dishes with a twist! Always good, if you ask me. For a good steak tartare or a juicy burger, I'm happy to hop on my bike. Definitely try the Bloody Mary soup! Heaven on a plate :-). If you love burrata, you absolutely have to go here! What a delicious plate and beautifully presented.

Moules Frites is a firm favourite, and I understand why. Delicious! The sauces are surprising, especially the passion fruit mayonnaise, which is so delicious with the mussels.
