7 x Restaurants in Cannes // Cannes Travel Guide

The Mother: About a five-minute walk from La Croisette, you'll find yourself in one of Cannes' most charming streets. Restaurants abound! One of them is La Môme, a beautiful restaurant with excellent food. The tagliolini pasta with lobster and truffle gnocchi is especially recommended.
6 Rue Florian, 06400 Cannes – lamomecannes.com

The Maschou: One of the best restaurants in Cannes is Le Maschou. Go for chicken, lamb, or steak, and get a basket (!) of fresh vegetables. Take your pick! Be warned: it's quite pricey here, but you do get good food in return.
15 Rue Saint-Antoine, 06400 Cannes – lemaschou.com

L'Assiette Provencale: If you're on a budget, it's essential to avoid all restaurants on or near the water, except L'Assiette Provencale. At this restaurant, you can enjoy a set menu with harbor views for €25.
9 Quai Saint-Pierre, 06400 Cannes – assiette-provencale.fr

Steak 'n Shake: You can probably guess what you can get here: steaks, burgers, and milkshakes. Secretly quite delicious after a day at the beach, right?! If you can't decide, go for the classic hamburger and vanilla milkshake ;-)

Croisette Corner: Craving typical French snacks like crêpes, croque monsieur, croissants, French fries, and hot dogs? Then the affordable Croissette Corner is a great place to tuck in.

8 Things to Do in Cannes // Cannes Travel Guide

Have a beach day: Cannes has many private beaches that are expensive, so head to the free sandy beach of Plage Macé. And don't worry, you can rent a parasol and lounger here too. Just be sure to bring your own snack bag, as the restaurants here are quite pricey.

Stroll along Boulevard de la Croisette: A must-do in Cannes is strolling along Boulevard de la Croissette. Enjoy the sea on the right and the luxury shops, hotels, and cars on the right. Stop on the boulevard for a glass of wine on a terrace and an ice cream in the sun. This is Cannes!

Eating ice cream at Amorino Gelato Al Naturale: Ice cream time! Here you get your favorite gelato in the shape of a flower. A photogenic ice cream indeed!
85 Rue Félix Faure, 06400 Cannes – amorino.com

Stroll through Le Suquet: Discover the old part of Cannes and imagine yourself in a tiny, ancient French village. Climb (steeply) up the winding streets, marvel at the architecture, stop for a coffee at the bakery, and be sure to browse the small boutiques. Once at the top, you'll have a magnificent (and truly magnificent) view of the city, the harbor, and the sea.

Shopping on Rue Meynadier: Running parallel to the harbor is Rue Meynadier, a charming shopping street with countless small shops and boutiques. Enjoy your stroll!

Visit Marches Forville: The main market in Cannes is Marches Forville. Locals and chefs alike shop here. It's a covered market where you can buy and sample only fresh produce. Think fruit and vegetables, potatoes, cheese and nuts, as well as flowers, nougat, olives, coffee, and pastries. It's a lovely place to stroll, especially if you're feeling hungry.

Sail to the Lérins Islands: The Lérins Islands are a group of Mediterranean islands off the French Riviera, near Cannes, that you'll definitely want to visit. The two largest islands in the group are Île Sainte-Marguerite and Île Saint-Honorat, and on Île Saint-Honorat, you can enjoy wonderful nature walks and a superb wine tasting featuring local wines!

Ice cream date, anyone? One of the newest openings at Amstel1 is De Boule De Boule, an ice cream and pastry parlor just behind Waterlooplein. After trying it, I can confirm: the ice cream is really, really good. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗕𝗘 After seeing their Instagram, you might think of places like Folderol in Paris, the spot that became famous for pairing ice cream with wine. But De Boule De Boule feels different. Less destination wine bar, more day-time neighborhood café where you can stop by for homemade ice cream, a pastry, coffee and, yes, a glass of wine. Inside you'll find shelves filled with vinyl records, a display of freshly made ice cream and homemade pastries crafted by two in-house pastry chefs. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗗 Amstel1 is still being discovered by Amsterdam and it was a little quiet during our visit. I expect the vibe to only get better as more shops open and people find their way here. I'm especially curious to see how it feels this weekend with the market taking over the area for the first full weekend. This covered location with a courtyard feel is incredibly promising. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 • Olive oil & basil ice cream with sea salt • Chocolate ice cream with hazelnut topping • Paired with a glass of Chardonnay and an orange wine. All of the ice cream is made in-house and completely vegan. If nobody had told me, I honestly wouldn't have guessed. 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗧 The ice cream is excellent, but what makes De Boule De Boule interesting is that it's more than an ice cream shop. It's a place for coffee, pastries, a glass of wine or drinks after a performance at the Stopera. And yes, I'm already planning to go back to try more flavors, but next time in the evening for a dessert after dinner elsewhere. Just to see how the space changes throughout the day. What would I order then? Very curious about the White Coffee ice cream! 𝗔𝗗𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 📍 De Boule De Boule @debouledeboule Amstel1, Waterlooplein Would you go for olive oil & basil or keep it classic? ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck
Today marks 43 ☺️🎈 But when I look in the mirror, I still see that 28-year-old girl who, 15 years ago, had no idea she would turn her hobby into her job. Thanks for being there (perhaps for so long) to follow this adventure 🫶🏼❤️. ✖️✖️✖️ @anne_de_buck
Come with me to get breakfast in Taipei 🥢 Straight from the airport to this little spot to taste soup dumplings and so much more! That's what I call a soft landing 😉
