Great Italian food at Campo de’ Fiori Amsterdam!
I LOVE Italian food. And when I say Italian food, I’m not talking pizza… ;-). Campo de’ Fiori Amsterdam is a new Italian restaurant located in the heart of the city center. It’s from the founders of Casa di David we all know in Amsterdam. We love to discover new places and I’m happy that we went to Campo de’ Fiori last week. This restaurant has a light and clean interior and you don’t notice that it used to be home to a seafood restaurant before. At the bar they have cured meats, garlic and sausages hanging on the ceiling. On the walls at Campo de’ Fiori Amsterdam you find vintage photo’s from Italy.

But let’s talk food! I have to admit that it was the lams rack on my Facebook wall that caught my eye last weekend that made me decide to check out Campo de’ Fiori Amsterdam. And yes, that’s exactly what I ordered! Delicious soft meat that melts on your tongue. As a starter we shared the antipasto for two. I can highly recommend this one, it’s delicious and you get to taste a little bit of almost every starter on the menu. The buffalo mozzarella was great! After all the great tastes we shared dessert. Our dolci was the homemade crème brûlée. Yummy!
