An all time favourite restaurant: Cafe Sjiek Maastricht
Cafe Sjiek Maastricht is not a new hotspot in Maastricht… this place is around since I can remember. It’s one of my all time favourites with the guarantee of a great night out with good food. And descent prices! This pub style restaurant has a seasonal menu with classic dishes like a steak and mussels with fries. Cafe Sjiek Maastricht doesn’t take reservations. It’s a first comes first gets system and while waiting at the bar for a table you can start the night with some snacks and a good glass of wine or beer (what they call ‘pils’ in Maastricht). Cafe Sjiek Maastricht is located in the city centre of Maastricht and is just a short walk from the Onze Lieve Vrouwenplein.
