I LOVE the vibe of East Berlin! It always immediately reminds me of the living room cafes you see so often there. Cosily furnished with vintage furniture from grandmother's time, velvet floral patterns, and fringes. Café Brecht in the center of Amsterdam is one such cafe! It is relaxed, hipsters frequent it, and the interior is snug. Cafe Brecht is named after the German writer Bertholt Brecht and is dedicated to a positive outlook on German culture. At Cafe Brecht in Amsterdam, you can stop by all day long for lunch, snacks, or a delicious piece of cake. Brecht is a super relaxed cafe in Amsterdam! You have to be lucky to find a free spot, but once you're settled in one of those lovely chairs, you won't want to leave :-).
