Table d’hôte hotspot in Amsterdam!
Do you know Cafe De Klepel at the Prinsenstraat in Amsterdam? Or actually it’s not really a cafe anymore but a gastropub slash restaurant. This brown cafe had a make-over not so long ago. A very good make-over! The new concept is foodie proof with a daily changing 3- or 4-course menu. Yup, table d’hôte is hot in Amsterdam!
Cafe De Klepel is located at the Prinsenstraat in Amsterdam. A beautiful piece of Amsterdam where I don’t come that often, but close to Dr. Blend and Property Of. I recommend to make a reservation if you want to go to Cafe De Klepel. This place is small and very popular. The interior is cosy with some vintage details and a stuffed boar head on the wall. I love the style!
During my culy night out I really enjoyed the menu at Cafe De Klepel. The asparagus season just started and the starter was served with salmon, popcorn and quinoa. Very good! Just like all the other dishes and the plate of cheese I shared with the girls.
Since the dinner with my colleagues there Cafe De Klepel is on my shortlist of favourite restaurants. I’m already thinking of the next time I’m going there with friends :-).
