Café Caron Amsterdam: soon open in De Pijp

6 October 2016

tv-chef alain caron starts a new hotspot with cafe caron amsterdam

Yes, some very good news for all the food lovers in Amsterdam. Soon a new family company will open its doors in the city. Chef Alain Caron, that we all know from his appearances in Masterchef, will open a bar together with his sons Tom and David: Cafe Caron Amsterdam!

More restaurants in Amsterdam

Café Caron is where you used to find Café van Hoeck, on the corner of the Eerste Jacob van Campenstraat and the Frans Halsstraat. The family is going to give the place a whole new look, so they’re busy with renovations now. What that new look is going to be, is still unknown. The same goes for the menu, although we heard something about the French cuisine. Does that mean good wines and good cheese platters? We wouldn’t mind ;-)

The only thing we know is that Cafe Caron Amsterdam is going to be a easy going place with good dishes. Sounds like a good plan! Check their facebook-page or Your Little Black Book to stay up to date about the latest news.
