Cafe Brecht the hipster cafe in Amsterdam

I LOVE the East Berlin vibe. It makes me think of the living room style cafe’s they have there, decorated with vintage furniture from the DDR with velvet worn flower patterns on it that make you think of your grand parents living room in the seventies. Cafe Brecht in the centre of Amsterdam is such a East Berlin style cafe! You’ll find a very relaxed atmosphere, hipster crowd and very cosy interior in this cafe in Amsterdam. Cafe Brecht is named after the German writer Bertholt Brecht and sheds light at the German culture in a positive way witcafe-in-amsterdam-cafe-brechth there programme of poetry, lectures and more. At Cafe Brecht they serve lunch, snacks or a delicious piece of home made pie. I must say that Cafe Brecht is a very relaxed cafe in Amsterdam. You have to be lucky to get a seat but once settled down in those  fluffy chairs you never want to leave again!
