Cafe Batu Jimbar in Sanur (Bali)

Cafe Batu Jimbar, Sanur, Bali: brunch hotspot

29 March 2014

Café Batu Jimbar in Sanur is perfect for a lazy brunch!

Café Batu Jimbar is a very good restaurant on the main street Jalan Danau Tamblingan in Sanur. It’s surrounded by many fashion boutiques and souvenir stores. Café Batu Jimbar is a perfect spot to chill down with coffee! It has a cosy outside patio with wooden seats. Inside the restaurant the bar with all the delicious cakes on display is the eye catcher of this restaurant. The interior is decorated with photos of typical Balinese scenes.

Café Batu Jimbar is one of my favourite spots in Sanur where they serve dishes with fresh organic ingredients. All dishes are very tasteful, but my favourite for breakfast are the poached eggs with roasted vegetables, feta cheese, rocket and a slice of toasted brown bread. The Chai Indian Tea with fresh cardamom, clove and cinnamon is the best tea I have had so far! And as I remember, I have never left this place without having a piece of cake. The cake is just too good! Try the chocolate cheesecake and you will understand.
