Café Batur Jimbar is a cozy restaurant on the main street Jalan Danau Tamblingan in Sanur. The small shop is surrounded by clothing and souvenir shops. Relax on the terrace at Cafe Batu Jimbar and enjoy a delicious coffee while shopping.

Inside Cafe Batu Jimbar, you'll also find a great spot! The bar is a real eye-catcher, with a display case full of delicious pastries. Around the bar, you can relax at one of the tables, surrounded by photos of typical Balinese scenes.

In Sanur, Cafe Batu Jimbar is one of my favorite restaurants, where they primarily use organic ingredients. Everything on the menu is delicious, but the poached eggs with roasted vegetables, feta cheese, arugula, and a slice of toasted brown bread is definitely my favorite for breakfast. The Chai Indian Tea with fresh cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon is seriously the best tea I've found in Bali so far! I've never left Cafe Batu Jimbar without having a piece of cake; it's sooo good! Once you try the chocolate cheesecake, you'll understand why ;-).

Every Thursday evening is Jazz Night, a perfect spot for a romantic dinner. Cafe Batu Jimbar in Sanur organizes events on several regular dates, which you can find on their website.
