New York isn’t just the city anymore where you can only eat burgers, pizza and donuts. Nowadays you can find a lot of very nice restaurant hotspots here with very good food. But we were really curious if the healthy food trend and especially the vegan trend also made their name here! Apparently it did because the just opened vegan spot By Chloe in Greenwich Village is super popular! We could only just found ourselves a spot at the sunny terrace whereupon like everyone else we had to wait in line to order.
By Chloe is established by Chloe who made name in America with her vegan recipe book. And now you don’t have to make the recipes yourself anymore because By Chloe will make it for you! Burgers, salads, pastas, juices, sandwiches. And yes: they are all vegan! We tried the kale salad with avocado, shiitake bacon, croutons, and a caesar dressing. Super tasty! We also tried the Mac N’ Cheese with sweet potato sauce and shiitake bacon. Just like eating the old fashion Mac ’N Cheese but than the healthy option! Do you think vegan food is boring or has no taste? Think again!
