Bucket list tip: sailing to an uninhabited island near Belize

Bucket list tip from Laura: sailing to an uninhabited island

I'm sailing on a catamaran through icy blue water, turquoise-flecked by the ever-shining sun. A dolphin briefly swims alongside our boat, and in the distance, an idyllic island looms: our destination for the night. Shane, the Belizean with his wild dreadlocks, sings "RUM PUNCH REFILL!" and I raise my glass again. Behind me, a cheerful shout: another fish has been caught. The sun briefly colors the world orange, and the island doesn't seem to get any bigger. It is what it is: a little paradise. Twenty meters of white sand, a few palm trees, and a stack of palapas… Need I say more? This three-day sailing trip from Caye Caulker to Dangriga is a must-do when visiting Belize.
