Bucket list tip: admire the lunar landscape of Lanzarote

When we think of the Canary Islands, we immediately think of the popular Gran Canaria and its all-inclusive holidays. But the islands have so much more to offer! And blogger Esmee shows us just that with her stunning photos of the Lanzarote landscape. It's like walking on the moon! Although Esmee's life online appears almost entirely black and white, it's anything but boring. For her blog She travels a lot and does photoshoots in the most surprising locations. Love it!
Lanzarote is a volcanic island largely composed of various rock types. The houses are painted white and provide a beautiful contrast to the surroundings, but the island's most captivating feature is its lunar landscape. Timanfaya National Park, where you'll find this lunar landscape, is a 50-square-kilometer nature reserve that has remained largely untouched by human intervention. You'll find more than a hundred volcanic cones and 25 craters there, some of which are still hot. It's truly remarkable!
