The most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in is the Amanwella in Sri Lanka. The hotel—you can hardly call it that, it's more like an island—is located in the town of Tangalle on the south coast. Only the freshest produce appears on your plate—think fruit in every color of the rainbow and a perfectly fried egg. Heading out of town? 🍂 These are my favorite walking and drinking spots in the Netherlands.
To be honest... I don't see myself living outside the city anytime soon, but on weekends I do enjoy getting out into nature. That's why I've created a YLBB shortlist of the most beautiful hiking areas, complete with a great spot for drinks nearby.
My perfect Sunday? First, a walk, then plopping down somewhere with a treat or a hot chocolate (or, of course, a glass of wine and bitterballen!).

I used to think Halloween was stupid 🎃.
But since I became a mother, it has become one of our favorite holidays!
