Bridges Amsterdam: must visit restaurant at The Grand

3 February 2013

Experience the luxury of The Grand Amsterdam at Bridges!

The Grand Amsterdam is a beautiful luxury hotel in Amsterdam, with an even better seafood restaurant.  When I lived in America dining in hotel restaurants was very common. Something we get more and more used to in Amsterdam lately. Restaurant Bridges was one of the first great hotel restaurants in Amsterdam and set the standard of this new scene. In the spring and summer they have a pretty inner garden at The Grand Amsterdam. At restaurant Bridges it’s all about seafood. So if you’re a seafood lover this is a good place to go in Amsterdam!  The menu at restaurant Bridges is inspired by Chef Ron Blaauw and cooked by executive Chef Joris Bijdendijk. It  offers options from the sea, the land and the garden, so there’s something for everyone. They also have a raw bar, with great options for au fruit de mere, oysters or raw fish tartar plates. We tried and tested several delicious dishes for you with great wine pairings. I loved the food deco at this great restaurant in The Grand Amsterdam. Restaurant Bridges is  a very good restaurant if you’re up to a special night out or have something to celebrate!
