Boemboe Club Amsterdam: for the best Indonesian dishes in East

3 April 2017

AT BOEMBOE CLUB AMSTERDAM YOU CAN GET AUTHENTIC INDONESIAN DISHES

Boemboe Club Amsterdam will ensure that you fall in love with Indonesian cuisine by serving real authentic dishes. In case you didn’t already have a weakness for it! Boemboe Club can be found on the Krugerplein in Amsterdam East, and at this point there’s probably a bell going off somewhere. Clubkoffie, one of our favourite coffee spots in East has recently gotten a complete hospitality permis, so on Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night we’re welcome to try the tastiest Indonesian dishes.Jojo and Bart still serve coffee and their famous club sandwiches during the day, and now Indonesian dishes as well in the evening.

In other words, Clubkoffie changes into Boemboe Club in the evening. Can we take a minute to appreciate the name as well, how good is it?!

OH MY, LAYER CAKES AT BOEMBOE CLUB AMSTERDAM

Back to the food; at Boemboe Club Amsterdam  you order Indonesian cuisine. And no, not just regular dishes. The recipes come directly from Jojo and Bart’s grandmother’s, so nothing can go wrong there.

Order ‘Bordje Bartje‘ and you’ll get an Indonesian table with nasi goreng, ayam or jamur ketjap (chicken or mushroom in jap boemboe), sambal goreng buncis (beans in coconutboemboe), telor balado (egg in spicy tomatoboemboe) and sealdo jojo (fried salad in sweet & sour sauce). Or go for the ‘Sate Jojo‘, and enjoy the sate ayam or sate tempeh, kat jangsauce (peanut sauce), longtong (sticky rice), and atjar (sweet & sour cucumber). Tip: don’t forget about dessert: layer cake, OMG so good!

With who are you going to try the Indonesian food on the sunny terrace of Clubkoffie/Boemboe Club Amsterdam?
