As foodies, we always love to do a food tour in other countries and cities. In most major cities you can book a separate tour for the different neighborhoods. Boston There are food tours for the North End and the South End, among others. On a super sunny day we went with Bites of Boston Food Tours I went on a culinary adventure through the trendy South End neighborhood. Along the way, I discovered the best culinary spots, which I'd love to share with you!

This brasserie has two locations in Boston. A local favorite for a good brunch, Parish is known for its excellent sandwiches. Fun fact: the sandwiches on the menu change regularly. Several well-known Boston chefs are asked to share their favorite sandwiches for Parish's menu. The meatloaf sandwich we tried was absolutely delicious.

The surprise of the tour was the Latin American restaurant Orinoco. It reminded us of the cozy tapas bars in Barcelona where you can enjoy delicious snacks and cocktails. We tried a date with bacon there, and it was absolutely delicious.

A delicious cookie every now and then is something we certainly wouldn't say no to! And The Flour Bakery in Boston happens to be one of the best spots for freshly baked homemade cookies. Don't be surprised if you have to wait in line!

Boston is famous for its seafood. From raw to fried! Yes, Americans love anything with a breading ;-). There are tons of chic oyster bars and seafood restaurants, but sometimes it's just as much fun to dig into a portion of freshly fried goodies at a local fish market. Fried clams are a local delicacy and a must-try during a trip to Boston.

In Amsterdam, we have Abraham Kef cheese, and in Boston, there's the delicatessen Fromaggio. A foodie paradise in Boston's trendy South End neighborhood. Here you can find the tastiest cheeses, wines, local beers, olives, and more to enjoy at home (or in the park).

JJ Foley's Cafe is an Irish pub. Where men gather after a long day at work to drink beer from pints and eat hearty food. Do you like a meatloaf dish? Then this is the place to be!
