Bisous Amsterdam: at this spot in De Pijp you'll feel like you're abroad

Bisous Amsterdam might just be one of the most original restaurant openings of the year so far. The space that was once home to Restaurant Floreyn is now the new home of Bisous Amsterdam, where you can dine in a Parisian atmosphere.

Why you want to spend an evening at Restaurant & Bar Bisous Amsterdam

heart De Pijp Bisous Amsterdam has recently opened its doors – on Albert Cuypstraat, to be precise. This boutique brings Zeeland roots and Parisian glamour to our capital, according to the owners. A seductive spot with a stunning interior. The owners of Bisous enlisted the help of the Belgian interior design studio JPDEMEYER&CO They're all in for this major project. The building is a whopping 170 square meters, and is decked out from top to bottom with red items, decorations, and Parisian boudoir influences. With a modern twist, though. Bisous isn't a trip down memory lane, but a contemporary spot where you go for a night out to remember. Owners Lowie Jansen and Bas Noorman felt the need for an internationally oriented, engaging venue where you'll linger long after dinner. So, at Bisous, you can stay until the wee hours. And you'll want to: once you're inside and experience the world of Bisous, you won't want to leave.

Menu Bisous Amsterdam

The menu at Bisous Amsterdam is diverse and perfectly complements the vibrant interior. Think oysters and other French classics, traditional cocktails, and smaller dishes to share (especially the appetizers) with the rest of your party. Main courses are best ordered individually. Of course, a leisurely meal isn't complete without a good glass of wine or bubbly – and Bisous has made a real effort to ensure that as well. This is one of the reasons why Bisous is the ultimate destination for true wine lovers. But at the same time, every bon vivant is welcome.

**Due to COVID-19, souvenirs are now available in bulk ❄️ Note to self: always keep room in your suitcase for 'souvenirs'. During my ski trip to Méribel, I popped into the local pharmacy just before leaving, and these are the beauty products I took home. I've tested them extensively and they're all more than YLBB-approved. Save them for your next trip to France (or your online beauty store). Which souvenirs always make it back in your suitcase? I'm curious! ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck PS: Follow @yourlbb for tons of tips to make the most of your free time — from travel tips to travel guides and more.
