Bikini Bar in Tribeca is everything but your typical coffee place

Straight up the coolest coffee place I have seen so far. As if I’m stepping from the busy and expensive financial district into a relaxing tiki-surf-paradise.
Feel the warmth, feel the breeze… Everything is so well decorated here. It even smells like paradise! From the interior (surf boards on the ceiling) to the surf songs to the surf video wall. Love the old school posters on the walls. Looks incredibly styled here.

Bikini Bar sells regular coffees, teas and other non-alcoholic drinks. You must try the tiki-cino. It has espresso, coco milk and an addition of some interesting bitters. Who would want a regular coffee now anyway? I can’t help but order two of those. If I wasn’t already awake I am now!
The people are incredibly friendly which gives it even a more warm vibe. Owner Aileen actually really was a surf chick in Hawaii. So cool. She has been designing bikinis and lingerie for many years now and has set up her own website. Well she is creative I’ll tell you that.

This cool coffee bar is practically around the corner from Century21. So if you can use a break obviously THIS is the place. Alo-haa! Just always check the Bikini Bar Facebook page to see if they’re open, because they don’t have set days yet. But fortunately that will change soon.

I strongly plead for a Bikini Bar here in Amsterdam. All in favor say I…!
