MOOD 👀, I woke up really early today and was just scrolling through my photos of Bangkok 🌴.
Then I thought: how nice would it be if we shared our booked and wishlist destinations for inspiration?
Here's a safari in Malawi & Zimbabwe 🐆 in the books with a stopover in Nairobi.
I'm also going to Paris for a few nights by train with Manuel. So excited! I'm going to visit all the Parisian clichés and more with him ✌🏼.
Also on the wishlist: China (May holiday), midweek Athens & coast (summer), London (always a good idea), Amalfi & Rome (Manuel's dream for the autumn holiday) & Japan (Christmas holiday including skiing, tips welcome☺️).
My intention for 2026 is also to plan more fun days/nights away in the Netherlands.
And I would love to go to Japan solo, but well... first I have to get back to work 😅😉.
Speaking off: happy new week!!
I'd love to daydream about your travel plans.

I have a nice garden and a nice summer day 🖤
March = the month in which my favourite Sunday markets start up again in full swing.
So my Sunday plans are quickly made: stroll along stalls, discover new food trucks and go home with a bag full of organic products or a good vintage find.
What I love about it? Every market has its own vibe.
• @feelgoodmarket for creativity and live music in Eindhoven
• Vintage heaven at @ijhallen
• @sundaymarket with creative makers and food trucks
• Curated vintage & design gems at @cabinetamsterdam
• @fairpricedvintage for scoring vintage clothing at many locations in the Netherlands
Have fun!

If you only go to one terrace in Amsterdam this weekend, make it @caferestaurant.meyer! What a great addition to the Amstelveld 😍.
Open from 10am, a very nice lunch menu, a wine list with a bottle of rosé for €20, but also olive ice cream with caviar (incredibly delicious!).
I'll be back soon to try the evening menu as well.
Tip: you can make a reservation on the terrace!
And did I mention there's a playground next door?
Have a nice weekend 😘

Note to self: always leave room in your suitcase for souvenirs. During my ski trip to Méribel, I popped into the local pharmacy just before leaving, and these are the beauty products I took home.
They've been tested extensively and are all more than YLBB-approved. Save them for your next trip to France (or your online beauty store).
Which souvenirs always make it back in your suitcase? I'm curious!

Many consider one of Utrecht's best restaurants located at the beginning of Biltstraat. Concours welcomes you for lunch and dinner. During lockdown, we dined here for the first time and enjoyed the delicious menu in our hotel room. The first thing we said to each other: this place is going for a star. I wouldn't be surprised if they win it soon. Cooking with the finest produce the world has to offer is the central theme here. Easily one of the best new restaurants we ate at last year. Want to stay overnight? You can at Hotel The Nox in the same building.
Keistraat 8, Utrecht – heaven-earth.nl

At Cerveceria Boulevard, you can enjoy Spanish delicacies in a warm, light, and Mediterranean atmosphere, with a Basque twist. You'll find Spanish pastries, various cheeses, charcuterie, and a wide selection of beers, wines, and other drinks. But in our opinion, the pintxos (skewered snacks) are by far the best: from Spanish ham and Manchego to unique pintxos with Pata Negra, goat cheese, and honey, or with grilled tuna, wasabi cream, and seaweed. Whether you're coming for a cozy drink with friends or a romantic dinner, Cerveceria Boulevard offers Spanish flavors and a warm atmosphere every evening. That's why this hotspot deserves a spot on our list of the best restaurants in Utrecht.

"A tavola non si invecchia." This beautiful Italian saying means "you don't grow old at the table." With good company and good food, you never waste time. An ancient Italian philosophy, which is lovingly embraced at Vegitalian! And if there's one more thing they want to add to this tradition: eat mindfully. That's why everything they serve here is vegan/vegan, they work with sustainable suppliers, and they use local products and organic ingredients as much as possible. Many people are taking small steps. Vegitalian believes this will shape the future! And we believe in Vegitalian.

Ruby Rose is a wine and food bar with a stunning interior. Lots of beautiful prints and a gigantic bar in the center of the room. Endless amounts of good wine, and the kitchen whips up everything you could possibly want. The menu features primarily Mediterranean dishes that you order to share. High-quality ingredients served simply, yet always bursting with flavor. Think beautiful sliced hams, oysters, burrata, escargots, seafood, carpaccio with fresh truffle, risotto, cheeses, pasta, and mini pizzas. Perfect for drinks with friends or a leisurely meal on date night. All of this is served in a unique location: a beautiful Art Nouveau building from 1904 on Korte Jansstraat, originally built as a flower shop, a fact you'll definitely see in the interior and the prints used.

At Koenraad, you won't find any fuss, because they're back to basics. No hype or trends, just a great night out with delicious food and fine wines. Koenraad has been located on Voorstraat since 2019, so it's still relatively new to Utrecht. The ingredients and drinks are sourced locally as much as possible. There are several nice spots to sit, but the The bar for drinks and food remains a favorite. Just like the nook by the fireplace.

Drieharingstraat is perhaps one of the most charming and busiest streets in Utrecht. Cafes and restaurants are everywhere, but Vintage Tapas is definitely my favorite. If you're with two people, ask for a seat at the cozy bar for an evening of Spanish tapas and a good glass of wine.
Drieharingstraat 18, Utrecht – tapasbarvintage.nl
This street food hole-in-the-wall restaurant is no longer Utrecht's best-kept secret, but it's definitely my favorite place for noodle salad or banh mi. There's almost always a line waiting for these Vietnamese delicacies, so take your time!
Mariastraat 2, Utrecht – kimmade.nl
Broei has since expanded into a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious lunch, dinner, or fresh juice, wine, and a variety of beers. But I still come here mainly for the coffee. The location, the interior, and the excellent coffee make this a true coffee hotspot.
