Because Yogyakarta is a student city, you'll find a surprising number of great coffee bars where the baristas take their work very seriously. Some coffee bars look like they could be in Brooklyn, New York, while others have an authentic, local feel. A nice mix! Ruang Seduh Jogja #RSJ: This is without a doubt the hippest coffee shop I've been to in Yogyakarta. It could easily have been in Tokyo or Seoul. They brew slow-brewed coffee with precision! The interior is bright and white, and this coffee spot is especially popular with local hipsters.
