In april 2015 a lot of things could be seen and done in Amsterdam. Many new hotspots opened their doors. With the first rays of sunshine, we were very eager to visit them all. How many of these hotspots have you visited?

Porem is a cocktail bar in the middle of the centre. What are they pouring here? Classic cocktails with a personal twist. At Yourlbb, we love this! A classic Gin & Tonic or Bloody Mary makes our hearts beat a bit faster.

Waterkant | AMSTERDAM centre >> Best of april 2015
Waterkant is lots of fun, especially in summer! You can sit by the water here and watch the boats passing by. All this while enjoying a fresh Surinamese beer. Because yes, Waterkant is a spot with Surinamese influences. Even when the sun doesn’t shine, Waterkant is awesome. Underneath the heaters it will always be hot and cosy. :)

We are so happy with Happyhappyjoyjoy. This Asian street food restaurant by tv chef Julius Jaspers is one of our favourite new restaurants in Amsterdam West this year. You can wake us up for the mini burgers with crunchy duck, served on a bapao bread.

T.I.T.S. is a super cute concept store in Amsterdam West. And you can even bring your lover here! There is a true boyfriend corner in which he can relax with a cup of coffee, while you’re shopping some cute festival outfits and presents.

Venster 33 | de pijp >> best of april 2015
Venster 33 is in De Pijp and they only serve dishes that have something to do with Amsterdam. Think: shrimp “kroketten” by Holtkamp and wine by Grapedistrict, yum! You can go here for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks.
