Amsterdam didn’t lack any new lunch hotspots in 2017. So many (fun) new spots have opened, that we of course want to share with you all. Because nothing is more fun than having lunch somewhere during the weekend with your friends or lover, but it can be hard sometimes to pick the best spot. That’s why we’ve listed our favourite lunch hotspots in Amsterdam that have opened in 2017. Enjoy!

Mook Pancakes centrum: Yes, this new location of Mook Pancakes has opened this year and they have new options on the menu, like a vegetarian pancake with baba ganoush, artichokes, African paprika mix and olive oil.

Day Foodbar: Just like in Amstelveen we can visit this all day spot for coffee, lunch, a drink or dinner. Ideal!

The Avocado Show (hotspot vlog): Everything here is all about avocado, we love it! Every dish is a piece of art and both the food as the interior is very Instagram-worthy.

Benjis: Coffee, breakfast, lunch, Benjis is an all day breakfast spot on the Wibautstraat where you can spend hours staring at the jungle-like interior.

Bistro Zebra: During the day it’s a bistro for a cup of coffee brewed with locally roasted beans, in the afternoon you can order a French baguette or spekkoek (Indonesian layer cake) with a good glass of wine on the terrace.

The Maker CafeThe Maker Cafe is the place in De Hallen to bring your laptop, enjoy a nice drink and a pastry. The insider tip that we got was: order the oat milk cappuccino at The Maker Cafe with a piece of sticky toffee and banana cake ;-).

Sticky Fingers: The newest coffee hotspot in Amsterdam is Sticky Fingers in the Old South. Don’t forget to order a cake with it, they are so tasty!

Bar Bouwmeester: This is a spot that you can visit the entire day for a cup of coffee, extensive lunch or a nice drink at the end of the day. What’s special about this place is that you can order everything of the menu the whole day through.

Joe & The Juice: Our favourite of all juice bars has finally opened its doors in Amsterdam. You’ll not only come here for the fresh juices, but also for the sandwiches. We love the sandwich with spicy tuna.

Pluk: Ever since the opening of Pluk in the Reestraat we’ve been a fan of this hotspot for fresh (detox) juice to take away, a healthy breakfast or tasty lunch and to buy the nicest gifts and musthaves.
