In Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, you'll now find Heyú Café, a coffee spot serving lunch and lobster rolls. At this cozy pink bar, they bake everything in-house, and the lobster rolls are freshly prepared. Finish your brunch with a pleasant stroll along the Amstel River.

Lottis
Enjoy weekend brunch at Lotti's. Their eggs Benedict are now famous, but don't forget the crab brioche on the menu. The menu has recently been revamped and now features even more delicious dishes. So book quickly.

V&A Bistro
At the renovated V&A Bistro Amsterdam (formerly Venus & Adonis) you won't find a lobster roll, but you will find a delicious brioche with crayfish. And believe us, it's just as good as the OG. Sit down on the terrace for a glass of bubbly and brioche on sunny days.

Jansz not only has a great location, but the menu is equally appealing. Think: a veggie club sandwich, a classic sandwich with cumin cheese, and of course, a good old lobster roll – they certainly know what to do here.

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner at George is always a treat. It's one of those Amsterdam spots where you can always go. At George Bistro on Gelderlandplein, you can also enjoy a lobster roll from early morning until late at night. And yes, it's just as good as all the other classics on the menu.

It's well known that they're good with mussels and gin. The new menu also features a fantastic lobster roll. Beautifully glistening with garlic butter and made even more appealing by the caviar (lumpfish roe). The perfect way to start an evening of Mussels & Gin.

First of all: thank you for being here to close out 2025 <3.
2025, you were everything I hoped you would be and more. So many new memories.
I don't yet know what 2026 will bring, but last year was one for the books. Highlights included trips to China, Mexico City, Egypt, and exploring the English countryside.
Entrepreneurs probably recognize that 2025 was not an easy year.
When I started Your Little Black Book, I had one dream: not to work to stay somewhere for free in exchange for content and the pressure of a "picture perfect" experience. But to use my revenue models to book and experience those special places myself, as a guest instead of an influencer, and to give you honest tips.
After almost 15 years of entrepreneurship, I'm so happy with the balance between editorial and commercial work and that I can also say no to things that don't feel right.
At the same time, it's still special that destinations, airlines, and hotels hire me to create a customized Little Black Book for them. I have complete freedom with these campaigns, and I believe in the value of these content-based tips that truly suit your taste. And they come from me personally, not from a machine.

This will always be my dream job, the one I created almost 15 years ago. I still do as much as possible myself. That's energizing—from both successes and failures.
