In this list I will share my favourite hotels in Utrecht. I really enjoy spending a weekend in Utrecht, so all the hotels in this list are tried and tested! Imagine endless strolls along the beautiful canals, shopping at the many nice boutiques and, when the weather is warm enough, having a drink on the fine terraces on the water. In short: as far as I’m concerned Utrecht is a very nice destination for a weekend break. Not too far from Amsterdam and there is plenty to do to fill a weekend with good food and culture. These are the 6 best HOTELS IN UTRECHT for a weekend break
The Nox Hotel: WOW! This is the word I would use if you asked me to describe The Nox Hotel. I stayed with them in the honeymoon suite and it is so amazingly beautiful that you don’t really want to check out. This room even has a private terrace and an amazing free-standing roll top bath. But, the other rooms are also great! And do you know what might be the best thing about The Nox Hotel? You will find one of the best restaurants in Utrecht in the same building: Hemel & Aarde.

Mother Goose: Would you like to wake up with a view of the Dom Tower? That’s possible at Mother Goose! The rooms are very tastefully decorated and you can choose from White Goose, Gray Goose, Brown Goose and Black Goose. The suite with free-standing bath is highly recommended and breakfast is offered at Daen’s!

Muze Hotel Utrecht: At this boutique hotel, all rooms are unique and you can always stay in a different style. My favourite rooms are the colourful ones with great vintage details. Muze hotel is located just outside the busy center and near the Miffy Museum. A wonderful base to discover Utrecht. One of the best new hotels in Utrecht.

The Anthony Hotel: Do you want to stay in a special building? Then The Anthony Hotel, which is located in a former monastery, is highly recommended. They also have great family rooms here, where you have a suite with two separate bedrooms. So bring the kids along! There is a restaurant, a bar and a large courtyard with terrace.

Eye Hotel: The Eye boutique hotel is located around the corner from the hip Voorstraat in a historic building that once housed the temporary ‘Ooglijdergasthuis’. In the 36 urban furnished rooms of this great hotel in Utrecht you will see the remains of its rich past!

Daen’s: Dean’s Room One is more a B&B than a hotel, because there is only one hotel room that is located above the concept store and cafe Dean’s. Still it belongs in this list with the best hotels in Utrecht. Even if you are not staying there, it is a must-visit for breakfast, lunch and coffee. When the weather is nice you can enjoy their lovely terrace!
